Peacock’s Lego Jurassic Park trailer roars with iconic recreations of classic scenes with signature Lego humor!
Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park is getting an unofficial remake from the makers of Lego, and Peacock has your ticket to the most dangerous petting zoo in cinematic history! The 22-minute special, titled Lego Jurassic Park: The Unofficial Retelling, roars on Peacock on October 10, bringing new humor and magic to a timeless cinematic masterpiece.
The Lego Jurassic Park project hails from From Universal Pictures, Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment, and the Lego Group as part of a 30-year celebration for the release of Jurassic Park. In addition to the Lego Jurassic Park: The Unofficial Retelling trailer, promotional art for the special features a Lego-style version of the film’s iconic logo and a Lego minifig resembling Jeff Golblum’s Dr. Ian Malcolm investigating a big pile of “bricks.”
In Steven Spielberg‘s Jurassic Park, paleontologists Dr. Alan Grant and Dr. Ellie Sattler and mathematician Ian Malcolm are among a select group to tour an island theme park populated by dinosaurs created from prehistoric DNA. While the park’s mastermind, billionaire John Hammond, assures everyone that the facility is safe, they find out otherwise when various ferocious predators break free and go on the hunt.
Peacock’s Lego Jurassic Park: The Unofficial Retelling trailer recreates memorable scenes from the original film, Lego style! The build-a-brick toy company is known for the durability of its products, franchise loyalty, attention to detail, and slapstick humor. That same level of care applies to the Jurassic Park retelling. It’s all pieced together for an animated package the whole family can enjoy!
What do you think about today’s Lego Jurassic Park: The Unofficial Retelling trailer? Is the original still the best film in the franchise? Is there a particular scene you hope to see in the new Lego special? What other franchise or film property would you like to get the Lego treatment? Let us know in the comments section below. I’d like to see Lego tackle more video game properties like Castlevania, Metroid, Shadow of the Colossus, Final Fantasy, The Legend of Zelda, Metal Gear Solid, and perhaps Resident Evil. That last one is a pipedream, but this is just for fun. Go wild!
