DC’s The Flash is racing into theaters this weekend after several extended delays. What did you think of the anticipated film?
DC’s The Flash is off to the races this weekend after earning $9M in Thursday Preview Screenings. The superhero film starring controversial actor Ezra Miller is one of the studio’s final projects before James Gunn and Peter Safran officially re-launch the DCU with the release of Blue Beetle on August 18, 2023. There was a time when fans were uncertain if The Flash would see the light of day, but here we are, with a film that production designer Paul Austerberry says is so good it will make people forget Miller’s crimes and problematic behavior. Is that the case? What did you think of The Flash? Feel free to let us know in the comments below.

The Flash stars Ezra Miller as DC’s Scarlet Speedster, Barry Allen, aka The Flash. The film features Michael Keaton in his return to superhero cinema as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Michael Shannon as the villain General Zod, Ben Affleck as Batman, Ron Livingston as Henry Allen, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Antje Traue as Faora-UI, and others in special cameo spotlights.
“Worlds collide in The Flash when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past,” reads the official synopsis of The Flash. “But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?”
