Ant and Dec have warned that this year’s I’m a Celebrity campmates are set to meet giant spiders.
The presenters posted a selfie at Gwrych Castle in Abergele last night, ahead of the new series.
Ahead of their arrival though, the pair spoke to TV Times to discuss relocating to North Wales.
This included a warning by Dec about the critters in the region, as reported by the Daily Star.
The 45-year-old said: “Some of the spiders here are bigger than ones in Australia – that’s all I’m saying.”
These may be appear in Bushtucker Trials, which Ant assured would be as challenging as ever this year.
He said: “Don’t worry, they’re not easing back on the trials. They’ll still be as horrific as they normally are.”
Aerial shots taken of the estate suggest that this will include being trapped in a prison cell structure.
The pair are both said to be “very curious” to see how everyone copes with the cold weather in Conwy.
The official line-up this year includes Beverley Callard, Sir Mo Farah, Vernon Kay and Victoria Derbyshire.
They’re expected to visit the castle for the first time on Friday, ahead of the launch later this weekend.
